Her weaving studio has an immediate similarity to the centuries-old dedicated spaces for Japanese woodblock printing, paper-making, or lacquer application. Free from distraction, her art can flourish. A woodburing stove, tea, woods on the other side of the window…the repetitive sound of the loom.
