Whether designing a rug, table linen, or wearable piece, each consultation is an opportunity to explore color, pattern, texture, and scale with care and intention.
Clients are invited to share images, inspirations, or details of the environment the textile will inhabit. Together, these elements are translated into a design that feels balanced, personal, and deeply connected to its setting. For wearable works, the same approach applies — considering individual style, preferred tones, and how the piece will be lived in.
Throughout the process, Karen maintains a close and attentive dialogue, sharing progress and refining details as the work evolves. The result is not only a finished textile, but a piece shaped through collaboration and understanding.
A consultation can be especially valuable when coordinating a textile with an interior or achieving a specific visual harmony. It allows each decision - from fiber to structure - to be guided with clarity and purpose.
The first hour of consultation is offered with no charge. Additional time is available at $75 per hour.
